Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 17, 2026

1. Summary

Hoops Journey has no accounts, no sign-up forms and, at the moment, no analytics or advertising. We do not collect personal information directly.

2. Hosting

The site is a set of static files hosted on GitHub Pages. When you visit, GitHub may log technical information such as your IP address for security and operations, as described in the GitHub General Privacy Statement. We do not have access to those logs.

3. Information stored in your browser

To let you continue where you left off, the site saves a small record in your browser's local storage: your reading list, the journey steps you marked as done, your first scores in the daily puzzles and any puzzle you have started, plus favorite teams and players, story brackets and your pickup lineup. A lineup contains the names you choose to enter. This record is not sent to us, and it stays on the device you used. You can see, export, import or delete it on Your progress, or remove it by clearing this site's data in your browser.

4. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We do not currently set cookies or use analytics or advertising services. If we add them — for example Google Analytics or Google AdSense — we will update this policy and our cookie page first, explain what is collected and by whom, and ask for consent where the law requires it.

5. Links to other sites

Pages may link to other websites. Their privacy practices are their own.

6. Children

The site is a general-audience history resource and does not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Changes and contact

When this policy changes, the date above changes too. Questions: see the contact page.
